The process specifications necessary for the realization of orders of this level are extremely stringent and follow, in particular, ESA (European Space Agency) certifications. Company’s technicians
operate according to the highest quality standards and they are all ESA Qualified.

Hi Tech Elettronica currently has certified employees divided between in-house and off-load activities at Prime Contractors like TASI – LEONARDO – OHB. Hi Tech Elettronica has a long-time collaboration with the Italian Institute of Welding (IIS) for training and the ESA / ECSS certification of its personnel working in the space sector.

Since 2015 Hi-tech qualified its manufacturing process on the ECSS-Q-ST-70-38 standard specification, thus becoming an ESA qualified supplier.

Qualified components include chip resistors, chip cpacitors, chip diode, SMD05, LCC, magnetic components, 14-pin flat pack up to CQFP352.

• Assembly Operators certified on ECSS – Q – ST – 70 – 38 specification on high-reliability soldering for surface mount technology;
• Assembly Operators certified on ECSS – Q – ST – 70 – 28 specification on repair and modification of printed circuits board assemblies for space use;
• Quality Inspectors certified on ECSS – Q – ST – 70 – 08 specification on high-reliability manual soldering of electrical connections with through hole technology;
• Quality Inspectors certified on ECSS – Q – ST – 70 – 38 specification on high-reliability soldering for surface mount technology;
• Quality Inspectors certified on ECSS – Q – ST – 70 – 28 specification on repair and modification of printed circuits board assemblies for space use;
• Assembly Operators and Quality Inspectors certified on ECSS – Q – ST – 70 – 18C on assembly and mounting of RF semi-rigid cable interconnections and coaxial connectors.
